@ Home Elder Care is here to support elders who want a little extra help at home. Our caregivers can help you manage everything that you need to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Here are the care services we provide:
- Coordinate transportation
- Schedule home services (whether Home Concierge or other services)
- Connect members with our team of vetted tradespeople
- Coordinate members’ circle of care (physician, allied health professionals, appointments, follow ups, updates, etc)
- Provide expert advice on navigating the healthcare system, searching for retirement homes, long term care, power of attorney or other services
- Coordinate to purchase and delivery of groceries, household items, clothing, and gifts straight to your door
- Help plan outings and social events
- Purchase tickets for upcoming local events on members’ behalf
- Arrange mobile manicures and pedicures
- Arrange carpet and upholstery cleaning
- Find a reputable local dog walker, veterinarian or groomer
- Connect members with a local downsizing professional, coordinate donation to local charitable organizations
We provide care services to individuals living in the Greater Hamilton Area.
All caregivers are insured and bonded. They also go through a thorough screening process where they are asked to provide proof of:
- 2-step TB test
- COVID-19 vaccination status
- Police check
- CPR-HC training certificate
Costs for care services are determined on a case-by-case basis. Weekly services are a minimum of three hour visits unless otherwise discussed with an @home care representative.
We accept cash and interac e-transfer on a bi-weekly or monthly basis.
Payments can be tailored to fit your financial situation and updated whenever needed.
